Our Web Design Process

ConnectNC, Inc uses a four-step process to ensure the successful completion of your web design. This process has been used to successfully implement a wide variety of web sites for our clients.

1. Foundation - In the foundation phase, we meet with your team to discuss all the relevant information which will make your web site a success; questions like your business goals, design preferences, content information, and preferred navigation structures. We also complete keyword analysis to target the phrases in the succeeding search engine phase.

2. Design & Mockups - The design & mockup phase is where your web site begins to take shape. After a detailed meeting with your company, we create a variety of graphical mockups for you to choose for your new web site. This gives you choices, and from them you can express your final design and content navigation. This is a critical step since your end user must be taken into consideration for the site to be successful. We can craft the site to match an existing marketing look & feel or create an entirely new one for you.

3. Development - Once the development phase kicks in our team goes into high gear. From the materials, resources, and information you have given us, we create the actual web pages and graphics to support them. Included in this is the highly important copy writing that will enable your pages to rank exceedingly well in the search engines for targeted keywords. Finally we make a "QC" (quick check) to make sure all links work and everything is functional for the end user.

4. Going live & Updating - The going live and updating phase first entails strict quality assurance testing of your new web site. Error free, highly usable solutions are our goal, and only after we have thoroughly tested your site, do we deploy it live on the Internet. Afterwards, we work with you to maintain fresh content on the site through regular updates. We also offer web design training if your own people want to take over the upkeep of the site. Ongoing search engine optimization services are also offered.
