ConnectNC, Inc got its start in the spring of 1996 as Internet of the Sandhills. At the time, residents of the Sandhills had limited choices when selecting an Internet Service Provider. Founders Barb Baxter and Beth Morgan started the company with a goal of providing outstanding customer service.

 

As Internet of the Sandhills expanded into other North Carolina counties, it outgrew its name! A new name, ConnectNC, was chosen in 2001 to more accurately represent the expansion of services statewide.

 

In 2001, Rick and Monica Zimmerman joined the company and DSL and expanded web services were added.  ConnectNC, Inc. is now the state's largest independent provider of DSL services.  ConnectNC is also Moore County's largest web hosting provider.

 

We believe we have the best trained and skilled staff to serve our customers, and continue to strive to add valuable services so that ConnectNC will always be your Internet Professionals!
